How do I add companies to my watchlist?

Tap the Watchlist tab, then tap the + Add Company button. Search for a company by name or ticker symbol and tap to add it to your watchlist.

Why am I not receiving push notifications?

Make sure push notifications are enabled in your device settings:

• Open Settings → Notifications → Investor Ping
• Ensure "Allow Notifications" is toggled ON
• Check your notification preferences in the app's Settings tab
• Verify your subscription tier (push notifications require Premium)

How do I manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID:

• Open Settings on your iPhone
• Tap your name at the top
• Tap Subscriptions
• Select Investor Ping to view, modify, or cancel

What's the difference between Free and Premium?

Free: Monitor up to 3 companies with email alerts only
Premium: Monitor up to 30 companies with instant push notifications, email alerts, and priority support

How quickly are alerts delivered?

Premium users receive push notifications within minutes of the SEC filing being published. Free users receive email alerts which may take a bit longer.

Can I use Investor Ping on multiple devices?

Yes! Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account on all your devices. Your watchlist and settings will sync automatically.

Where does the insider trading data come from?

All data comes directly from the SEC's EDGAR database. We monitor Form 4 filings in real-time, which company insiders are required to file within 2 business days of transactions.

Technical Issues

App crashes or won't open

• Force quit the app and reopen it
• Restart your device
• Check for app updates in the App Store
• If the issue persists, contact support with details about when the crash occurs

Data not loading or showing old information

• Pull down on any screen to refresh
• Check your internet connection
• Try switching between Wi-Fi and cellular data
• Sign out and sign back in from the Settings tab
